How it works
Three steps, three weeks.
Apply, talk with two of us, spend a morning working a problem with other applicants. Offers go out the following week.
- Mid September Applications open The form opens at the first Generator Cafe of the semester.
- Late September Applications close About a week to apply. Late applications are not read.
- The week after Conversations Thirty minutes with two of us. A conversation, not a resume read.
- That weekend Working session A small group works a problem together for a morning.
- Early October Offers Offers go out. The Founder Agreement follows.
- Early October Launch Cafe Cohort 1 meets in one room for the first time.
What we look for
We are not reading your resume.
Eight weeks can produce the idea, the product, and the users. They cannot produce drive. That is the only thing we are looking for, and it is the only thing we cannot teach.
The application is short. A one-minute video of you, a few written answers, nothing to upload or polish. You will know if it is for you within the first question.
The commitment
We ask a lot. We think you can do a lot.
- You are at every session, Mondays and Saturdays, for the full eight weeks.
- You understand most of the work happens between sessions, and you are ready for that.
- If accepted, you are in for the whole program.
